Dean's Message

Sri Ganganagar a prestigious Agriculture district of north-west region of the country in general and of Rajasthan in particular, being the grain and fiber bowl of the country. It has fertile, irrigated soil, very much suitable for agricultural production. The agricultural scientists have developed technology for getting optimum yields of the different crops, but farmers have not been able to exploit technology fully, in want of technical knowledge of agriculture. Majority of the farmers of this region are illiterate and are not been able to adopt the application and importance of the technology. Unless the farmers are not educated the basics of the agriculture, they would be unable to apply the technology. Therefore, there is great need to have an agriculture college to impart and educate the rural youth of this region. With this objective Tantia University has introduced Agriculture College to educate the rural youth from the academic session 2015-16. As a Dean of the faculty of Agriculture, I wish & assure to impart theoretical as well as practical education with my faculty colleague of the college with our best
